「1Password for Agents」が発表、AIエージェントにパスワードを見せずにサインインさせられる
個人・ファミリー向けは追加料金なし、「Claude Duet」「ChatGPT Work」などと連携

加AgileBitsは10月22日（現地時間）、「1Password for Agents」プラットフォームを発表した。AIエージェントがWebサービスへのログインを必要としたときに、ユーザーの認証情報を直接AIに渡さず、安全にログイン処理を実行できる仕組みだ。
通常AIエージェントは、ログインページにたどり着くとそこで作業が止まってしまう。しかし、ユーザーがエージェントの操作を引き継いで手動でサインインするのは手間がかかる。かといって、パスワードをAIチャットに貼り付けるのはあまりに危険だ。
こうしたジレンマを解決するのが、「1Password for Agents」だ。AIエージェントがログインを求めると、「1Password」がユーザーの承認を得て、保管庫（Vault）にある認証情報をログイン先のサイトへ直接自動入力する。エージェントがパスワードやワンタイムコードを目にしたり、手にしたりすることはない。エージェントが利用できるのはユーザーが承認したログインのみで、不要になればユーザー側からいつでも連携を解除できる。
つまり、「1Password」を認証情報の“仲介役”と“門番”にできるわけだ。エージェントはスムーズにログインできるが、認証情報からは隔離される。
「1Password for Agents」は、「Claude Duet」やOpenAIの「ChatGPT Work」、「dots」などとの連携が発表されている。各サービスでの提供予定は以下のとおり。
- Muse（Meta）：今後数日中にすべてのプラットフォームで展開
- Claude Duet（Anthropic）：近日対応
- ChatGPT Work/dots（OpenAI）：近日対応
- Grok Bot（SpaceXSI）：今後数日中にすべてのプラットフォームで展開
- Townie（Town）：Web版とiOS版で近日対応
そのほかにも、「Instinct」「Browserbase」「Browser Use」「Dana」「KERNEL」「Perplexity」「Ramp」「Tomo」「Wajo」との連携が予定されているとのこと。
「1Password for Agents」は、「1Password.com」の個人（Individual）プランとファミリー（Family）プランで追加料金なしで利用可能。エージェントのコネクターを自分で有効にしない限り、エージェントが保管庫にアクセスすることはない。

1Password for Agents gives your agents access without giving up your passwords. When an agent reaches a sign-in form, it requests a credential from your vault. If you approve the request, 1Password directly auto-fills the credential in the destination site so the agent can’t see or take possession of the credentials.
The agent gets the task done, but it doesn’t get your passwords..
You stay in control. 1Password for Agents free and optional for personal and family accounts. Unless you opt-in to an agent connector, agents cannot touch your vault.

なお、「1Password.eu」「1Password.ca」のアカウントは現在のところ対象外。利用できるプラットフォームや機能、認証情報を保護・制御する仕組みは、連携するエージェントによって異なる。
