「Wireshark 4.6.7」、12件の脆弱性を修正 ～AI支援の脆弱性報告が増加傾向

「Wireshark」v4.6.7がリリース

　フリーのパケットキャプチャーツール「Wireshark 4.6.7」が、7月8日（協定世界時）に公開された。「Wireshark 4.6」シリーズの最新版となる。

　本バージョンでは、以下の12件の脆弱性が修正された。件数が増加傾向なのは、AI支援による報告が増えているからであるという。

• wnpa-sec-2026-52：Catapult DCT2000 protocol dissector crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-53：pcapng file parser crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-54：FMP/NOTIFY protocol dissector large loop.
• wnpa-sec-2026-55：SSH protocol dissector crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-56：TLS ECH decryption crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-57：IEEE 802.11 protocol dissector crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-58：Z39.50 protocol dissector crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-59：UMTS FP protocol dissector crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-60：BLF file parser information disclosure.
• wnpa-sec-2026-61：Multiple protocol dissector infinite loops.
• wnpa-sec-2026-62：DBS Etherwatch file parser crash.
• wnpa-sec-2026-63：Ciscodump extcap crash.

　そのほかにも、システムの言語がオランダ語の場合に「Wireshark」がドイツ語で表示されてしまう問題などが解決されている。Windows版のインストーラーは「Visual Studio 2026」でビルドされるようになっているとのこと。

　「Wireshark」は、Windows/Mac/Linuxなどをサポートするクロスプラットフォーム対応のネットワークプロトコルアナライザー。ネットワークに流れるさまざまなパケットを採取し、情報をリアルタイムで表示したり、ログファイルを解析・調査できる。Windows版の対応OSは64bit版のWindows 10/11およびWindows Server 2016/2019/2022で、現在公式サイト「wireshark.org」から無償でダウンロード可能。窓の杜ライブラリからもダウンロードできる。

　なお、旧ブランチの「Wireshark 4.4」シリーズでもv4.4.17がリリースされている。前述の脆弱性のうち、「4.6」シリーズのみに影響する2件（wnpa-sec-2026-53、wnpa-sec-2026-56）を除く10件が修正されているので、利用中の場合はアップデートしておきたい。
