「Google Chrome」で15件の脆弱性修正、「致命的」なものも2件

Windows環境に「Google Chrome」v151.0.7922.169/.170が展開中

　米Googleは8月18日（現地時間）、デスクトップ向け「Google Chrome」の安定（Stable）チャネルをアップデートした。現在、Windows/Mac環境にはv151.0.7922.169/.170、Linux環境にはv151.0.7922.169が展開中。

　本バージョンは、15件の脆弱性に対処したセキュリティアップデート。このうち2件は、深刻度が4段階中もっとも高い「Critical」（致命的）と評価されている。

• CVE-2026-76034：Buffer overflow in WebGL
• CVE-2026-76036：Buffer overflow in Dawn

　残る13件の評価は、4段階中2番目に高い「High」。

• CVE-2026-76035：Inappropriate implementation in Media

• CVE-2026-76038：Type confusion in V8

　今のところ悪用の報告はないようだが、速やかにアップデートすることをお勧めする。

　デスクトップ向け「Google Chrome」はWindows/Mac/Linuxに対応しており、現在、同社のWebサイトから無償でダウンロード可能。Windows版は、Windows 10/11に対応している。すでにインストールされている場合は自動で更新されるが、設定画面（chrome://settings/help）にアクセスすれば手動でアップデート可能。アップデートを完全に適用するには、「Google Chrome」の再起動が必要だ。
