Adobe Firefly Videoモデルの情報が先行公開 米Adobeは9月11日（現地時間）、AIによる動画生成機能「Adobe Firefly Video Model」についての情報を先行公開した。
Adobe Firefly Video Model Coming Soon | Adobe Video 2024年後半には、テキストから動画を生成する機能と、画像から動画を生成する機能が、まずはベータ版として「Premiere Pro」などから利用可能になる予定。テキストからの動画生成機能では、テキストプロンプトに従って動画を生成したり、アングル・モーション・ズームなどのカメラ操作にアクセスして動画を微調整したり、タイムラインのギャップを埋め、より動画をシームレスに見せるBロール（補足的な映像素材）を生成できる。また、画像からの動画生成機能では静止画やイラストを実写動画に変換可能だ。
同社は、「Adobe Firefly Video Model」を使用して作成した動画を紹介している。以下の動画は全て2分以内に生成されたという。

生成したBロール（プロンプト「Detailed extremely macro closeup view of a white dandelion viewed through a large red magnifying glass」） そのほかにも、「Adobe Firefly Video Model」は、アニメーションやエフェクトや、動画の間に挿入する短いカット（インサート）を生成したり、動画同士を組み合わせたり、ストーリーを要約した短い動画を制作したり、などさまざまなユースケースを想定しているという。
また、「Adobe Firefly Video Model」は、ほかの「Adobe Firefly」の生成AIモデルと同様に、使用許可を得たコンテンツのみを学習しているため、著作権侵害などを気にすることなく商用利用できるとしている。
